Newly Widowed?

Your MUST-HAVE Checklist

A Few Years Into Widowhood?

Still a Resource for You ❤️‍🩹

Support When You Need It Most -

Because Losing Your Spouse Is Hard Enough

Navigating the financial and practical tasks

that are needed after your spouse

passes away is overwhelming.

I learned the hard way that missing steps

(or taking them out of order) adds to your grief...

which is the last thing you need right now.

That's why I created this organized, step-by-step list as a resource for new widows and widowers:

  • How to prevent or respond to the identity theft of your loved one

  • What documents and passwords you will need

  • What actions to take, in what order - to prevent being locked out of financials as a living spouse

  • The heart level issues of their belongings, and how to take over their roles

  • Empathetic wisdom and rallying others where you need help

I created this supportive checklist both from personal experience as well as research... because you don't need the added burden.

I am so sorry you are here in the trenches of widowhood.

You are not alone!

I lost my young husband by suicide in 2019, and the aftermath with four children was chaotic, dark, and painful.

He was the financial and tech arm of the marriage, and I was at a complete loss in many areas.

In the following years, I became so overwhelmed and low that I was suicidal myself.

Hope Speaker was born to be able to reach people struggling... because I've been there.

I am here for you!
